About Ann and Relief Management
Born in the Northumberland countryside in to a farming family and later moving over the border into County Durham, where I spent most of my early working years in administration.
After being married and assisting my husband in his jewellery business, we set up a Self Catering Bed and Breakfast holiday complex in the Derwent Valley. Which I ran successfully for twelve years until we sold the business to pursue other interests.
One of my interests was to carry out relief management for Guesthouses, B&B’s, Self Catering Cottages, Caravan Holiday Complex’s and Small Boutique Style Hotels. Managing establishments up to 5 star Johansen guide quality.
I enjoy the work immensely as I love meeting new people and travelling to new destinations and the fact that no two days are alike. I am at heart a country person, but I am equally at home in the town or city.
I am a pet lover and so have no problem if there are pets at the establishment and also love gardening, so I have no problems keeping an eye on things while owners are absent.
I have many interests, one of which is floristry, for which I am trained to City & Guilds standard.
Travel, walking and holistic therapy are among my other interests.
I can also help to set up your business or run your business whilst you maybe looking to sell.
I consider myself to be of an outgoing personality and always ready to take on new challenges.
Thank you, Ann
